1. Ensure Safety: Before starting, make sure that both vehicles are off and parked on a stable surface. Wear protective gear if you have it.

2. Prepare the Starter: Charge the emergency starter according to the manufacturer's instructions.

3. Connect the Starter: Attach the red clamp of the starter to the positive terminal of your car battery, and the black clamp to an unpainted metal surface on your car's frame (not to the negative battery terminal) for grounding.

4. Start Your Vehicle: Turn on the emergency starter (if it has a switch) and then start your vehicle. If the car doesn't start right away, wait a few minutes and try again.
